Awesome Otters Birthday
Awesome Otters Birthday
Today I am sharing a quick little birthday card with the Sale-a-bration Set, Awesome Otters. This set makes up some really cute cards, and they don't have to be difficult. For today's shared project I used my blends to color the image and created a custom background with just some simple repeated stamping on the Simply Marbleous DSP. (Also a Sale-a-bration Item) The full instructions are included here and some photos as well.
Happy Stamping,
Susan

Instructions:
-
Cut a 8 ½” x 5 ½” piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock. Score at 4 ¼”. Fold in half to form a card base. Burnish crease using a Bone Folder.
-
Die-cut from a piece of Basic White cardstock with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, for the center focal image.
-
Stamp with Memento ink, the otter and the birthday sentiment on the die-cut piece.
-
Stamp the party hat on a piece of scrap White with Memento Ink.
-
Now with the Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Blends, color the otter image.
-
Then with the Pool Party and Bermuda Bay Blends color the rectangle around the otter image, leaving the edge white for a frame.
-
Also color the party hat and trim out with your paper snips.
-
Now on a piece of the Simply Marbleous DSP that is 4”x 5 ¼”, stamp the party hat and the other sentiment repeatedly with Bermuda Bay ink. Then color the party hat dots with the Bermuda Bay Blend.
-
Assemble your pieces to your card. The DSP layer with liquid adhesive, the sentiment die-cut with dimensionals and the party hat with a mini-glue dot.
