Design A Daydream Pocket Card Design

Hello my stamping friends.

Today I am sharing a simple fun fold card design. I dubbed it the Pocket Fold! It really is a simple fun fold, and as you will see from the tutorial shared, something you can do. I am featuring the Design A Daydream DSP that is the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog Hostess Item. It comes with lots of printed paper designs. Just coordinate your cardbase color with a color in the DSP that you choose to craft with.

First, let’s start with the materials.

Cardbase 11 x 4 1/4
DSP Panel 4 x 6
Liner 4 x 5 ¼
Paper Ribbon ½ x 6 ¼

Okay, so the base has two score lines, one at 5 ½” and the other at 1 ½”.

The DSP panel will be cut into four sections to be used on the card. The two larger sections for the card base and the two skinny sections for a little embellishment on the card liner panel.

Okay, so now let’s create the pocket!

Adhere the 4” x 3 ¾” to the front flap of the card.
Then wrap the paper ribbon around the base and fold and adhere to the front, under where the 1 ½” flap will fold down.
Now fold down the flap and add the 1 ¼” x 4” DSP panel.
Then finish off the inside panel with the two ½” DSP strips.
