In The Moment with Simply Marbleous DSP V2

In The Moments with Simply Marbleous DSP

Hello Stampers,

It’s Follow Along Friday! Most weeks, I try to share a fun project with all of you.  This one happens to be a coordinating card project from the Make It Monday project I shared earlier this week. Both feature the In The Moments Stamp Set from the Spring Catalog, and I paired it with the Simply Marbleous DSP from the Sale-a-bration Promotion.

I like both versions of the project, but I think I prefer this one on the darker background.  Plus I was able to create the pocket out of the die-cut and show both sides of the beautiful patterned paper.

I actually have four versions of this project to share.  Each was a potential project of its own.  I just kept changing an element until I found the one I liked best.

Enjoy the variation, and do some fun stamping this week.

Happy Stamping,

Susan

Instructions:

  1. Cut a 4 ¼” x 11” piece of Misty Moonlight. Score at 5 ½” . Fold in half to form a card base. Burnish crease using a Bone Folder.

  2. Die-cut a piece of Simply Marbleous DSP with the Ornate Layers Dies.

  3. Stamp your sentiment with Memento Ink directly onto your DSP layer.  I stamped on the lighter side of this paper, near the top.  Then scored below the sentiment and folded in half. This makes a pocket for the floral die-cuts and let’s us see both sides of the DSP.

  4. From Basic Black cardstock and Balmy Blue cardstock die-cut different dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies.

  5. Cut a 2 ⅞” x 5” Basic White. Die-Cut with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

  6. Adhere all the layers to the card front.

Options:

You can add or delete layers and embellishments.  Here are a few examples.

Option 1 -

  • Only use one die-cut layer for the Silhouette.

  • Skip the Stitched Greenery Die-Cut on the Basic White.

Option 2 -

  • Use two layers of die-cut flowers, in two colors.

Option 3 -

  • Add a layer of Basic White cardstock, die-cut with the Stitched Greenery die.

Option 4 -
