Hello my stamping friends.
Ready for some fun loving CAT Cards? Check out this fun new set from the Spring Mini Catalog - Love Cats! And okay, maybe it’s my crazy brain and living in a house with musicians, but every time I write or think “love cats”; my brain shouts “Love Shack” from the B52’s song… (sorry felt I should share that little chuckle!)
Okay, back to today’s project. So this one I crafted for an early Demo Swap for the new Spring catalog. I wanted to keep it simple but also add a little fun element. I choose my color’s first. Early Espresso and Sweet Sorbet. I have a friend who loves putting brown and pink together, which worked well here.
I stamped my cat image first, then added color to the heart with the coordinating BLEND marker. Then stamped my sentiment to match. This cute mini plaid paper is also in the new catty - Country Gingham 6 x 6 DSP (160388) - it has four colors but I used the Sweet Sorbet. Then I used the sparkly Sweet Sorbet ribbon as my fun element! I have some photos below to show how I pierced the image and inserted the ribbon under the belly of the cat.
