May Flowers with Flowering Vines| INKspirations Blog Hop
Welcome to the STAMPING INKspirations BLOG HOP for May 2021. This month we are sharing projects featuring flowers! Which of course being May brought the old rhyme into my head… “April Showers Bring May Flowers”.
For today’s project, I am featuring paper dies as my focal point; both from the Spring SU! Catalog that will end in June. First the Flowering Vines Dies for my main background, then an added embellishment of the die-cut and embossed butterfly from the Floating & Fluttering Bundle. And my floral image comes from the Art Gallery Bundle.
Sometimes it’s nice to just work with paper and not worry about too many inks and stamps! Here I am doing some simple stamping with just the one image. And adding color to the die-cut/embossed butterfly.
I have the full tutorial below with supplies and instructions.
Now that you have visited with me, and I hope my project may have inspired you, it’s time to send you along to the next blog with Gez Carpenter. Please leave me and the other paper crafters comments on our posts. We just love to know what you think of our ideas.

Die-cut Front Panel
-
With the Rectangular Stitched Dies, die-cut the Blackberry Bliss cardstock layer.
-
Then die-cut the Flowering Vines Dies from the center.
-
Adhere the Stitched Rectangular frame with Tombow adhesive to the front of your Notecard, in the top left corner of the folded card.
-
With your Paper Trimmer, trim off the excess notecard.
-
Then adhere the Vine die-cut with the Tombow adhesive back into place.
Stamp & Die-cut Embellishments
-
Stamp the floral image from the Art Gallery stamp set with the Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive ink.
-
I selectively inked the floral portion with the Blackberry Bliss, and the stem portion with the Old Olive.
-
Stamp the image on Very Vanilla cardstock.
-
Stamp the same image again on the corner of your envelope.
-
Stamp the sentiment as well.
-
Now die cut the embossed butterfly image from the Fluttering Dies, along with the floral image, and the sentiment from the Floral Gallery Dies.
-
Use a Stampin’ Sponge, and the Bumblebee Ink to add color to the butterfly die.
-
Now add all the elements to the card front with Mini Dimensionals.
