Reflected In Nature - Breathe Deep

Reflected In Nature

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today I have this quick and easy Fun Fold card to share with all of you.  This fold has become very popular with the demonstrators I swap with and I'll tell you why... It's so easy!  You simply section off a portion of the front of the card, here it is 1 1/4" inches, but it could smaller or bigger.  Then you decorate the two parts. The mini scored section, then gets adhered to the inside panel and creates a booklet like fold instead of our standard fold.  It's easy, it's clever, and it's different.

Below you can find my list of supplies, and of course the directions to follow too.  At the very bottom is the link to the quick video tutorial for each step.  I know seeing is sometimes easier than reading instructions.

Please if you are shopping for supplies, I greatly appreciate your business.  As a thank you, I not only send you a hand-stamped card, but also include a tutorial and card kit for your crafting fun.  Plus as a VIP you are invited to join my FB Group where I share more projects with my customers.

Happy Stamping,

Susan

Instructions:

  1. Cut an 11” x 4 ¼”  piece of Soft Succulent cardstock. Score at 5 ½” and  4 ¼”. Fold in half to form a card base. Burnish crease using a Bone Folder.

  2. Adhere a piece of 4 1/4” x 1” Painted Christmas Earth patterned paper to the card front in the scored off area.

  3. Wrap and adhere on the inside of the cover a 6” piece of Evening Evergreen Ribbon.

  4. Now add adhesive and tack the 1 ¼” section that was scored off, to the front of the card.

  5. Slip a second piece of ribbon behind the first, on the front of the card.  Tie a simple knot and then use your paper snips to even up the ends.

  6. Now stamp your image with the Evening Evergreen ink onto the 4” x 4” Basic White Cardstock.  Also stamp the lower sentiment with the same ink.  Adhere this layer to the front of the card.

  7. Now die-cut a Basic White label for your sentiment.  Also die-cut two pinecone dies from Early Espresso cardstock.

  8. Stamp the BREATHE DEEP sentiment with the Evening Evergreen ink on to the label and adhere with dimensionals.  This will allow for the pinecones to adhere behind the label with mini-glue dots.
