Inside W Pop Out Fun Fold

Hello my stamping friends.

Ready for the second Fun Fun Template for May?  I’ve received this type of fun fold in a swap before, but I can’t remember making it before now.  It was shared by Jackie Bolhous a few months ago and I decided to share it this month with my Templates Class In the Mail group.  Don’t know what I’m talking about… see the link at the bottom of this post or the icon along the edge of my blog and learn more.  You are welcome to join us!

For today’s project I am featuring the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set and coordinating DSP -  Hello, Irresistible! Both are online exclusive items, so we never know when they will be discontinued.  If you like them, don’t delay and miss out!

I paired my DSP selections with Calypso Coral cardstock and ink today. I wanted to keep the color choices and stamping simple since the purpose of this is to share the fun fold template.

Okay, so each of these Fun Fold projects has a Show & Tell video to take us from start to finish.  So let’s start there.  If you have your templates and practice kits, you received in the mail, you can follow along and pause the video as we work together, or watch and then make your kits.  Whichever works best for you.  Here we go!

So, you can see there are a lot of pieces to prepare for this one.  But in the end I think it is worth it!  It would look great both as a vertical and horizontal card layout.  I will have to give that a try in the coming weeks for comparison.

Diagonal Front - Card on Card Fun Fold

Hello my stamping friends.

Ready for our first Fun Fun Template for May?  Okay, before you panic, yes it has a diagonal cut in the design… but it’s going to be okay.  I will walk you through the whole process step by step.  We are in this together!

For today’s project I am featuring the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set and coordinating DSP -  Hello, Irresistible! Both are online exclusive items, so we never know when they will be discontinued.  If you like them, don’t delay and miss out!

I choose papers that would work with Pretty Peacock.  It is a returning color to our color families, tomorrow with the release of the new catalog.  This was one of my favorites before, and still is.  It’s blue, but it’s green at the same time.  And I really like the way this DSP has the white images with the muted colors behind.

See, it’s not that hard of a template to follow along with.  This is a perfect example of a project that a template really helps when recreating it with new papers and stamps.  Having it to open and fold, and line up with the paper cutter for positioning was very helpful to me.  I hope it will be for you as well.
