BEAUTY OF FRIENDSHIP FOR 3rd Thurs Blog Hop

Welcome to the 3rd Thursday BLOG HOP for May 2021.  This month we are focused on a few of our NEW favorite things.  And I have to tell you I have fallen for this new TREE THEMED bundle - Beauty of Friendship.

The stamps are beautiful and easy to use all by themselves.  The dies are beautiful as well, and can also be used solo.  Then you use them together and you have wonderful projects before you know it!

This project actually came together from a series of scraps and other leftover pieces and parts from projects recently designed and crafted on my studio table.  I truly believe, even scrap can be created into another project.  I know I am not the only one out there who hoards their scraps!

I do not have a Stampin’ Show & Tell video to share for this specific card today.  But I do have one from one of the prior projects that showcases how I stamped the background panel.  So that link is shared if you are interested.   YOUTUBE VIDEO LINK

For this project the tutorial is included below to list all the supplies and measures, plus instructions for crafting.

Now that you have visited with me, and I hope my project may have inspired you, it’s time to send you along to the next blog with  Kimberley Anne Morris .  Please leave me and the other paper crafters comments on our posts.  We just love to know what you think of our ideas.

  • Die cut the tree trunk from Cinnamon Cider scrap card stock

  • Die cut the tree top from the Garden Green scrap cards stock

  • Die cut the bird from the Cajun Craze

Stamping Sentiment

  • Ink and stamp your sentiment with Misty Moonlight onto the label die-cut

Put It All Together

  • With Tombow adhesive add the stamped background panel to the Misty Moonlight layer.

  • Then add the thin Misty Moonlight strip for embellishment

  • Next add the sentiment label with dimensionals

  • Now add the die-cut tree and tree top, plus the little bird.

  • Now adhere the assembled card front to the front of your card base with dimensionals as well.
