For CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch #359

Hello my stamping friends.

This project was inspired by the CASE-ing Tuesday FB Group today.  At first I thought this sketch might be tricky since it has a diagonal element, but really it wasn’t that hard.  I marked my DSP at ¾” at the top of the 3 inch panel.  Then placed it on my paper cutter so that the ¾” mark and the inside edge of the panel were in line with my paper cutter.  And that was that!

You can see the original catalog sample and sketch - CASE-ing Tuesday FB Group sketch #359.  Here is the catalog sample and sketch shared.

I used a few retired items in my project today!  So please don’t get upset that you can’t find all my elements in the current catalog collection.  Just because something isn’t available any more should mean I can’t share it in a project.  And remember, when we CASE a card, you can edit it any way you like!

Happy Stampin,

Susan

Project Instructions:

I started by making all the pieces and layers for my card.  I choose to dry emboss my card base for texture.  And used a retired sample of DSP for the diagonal element. Just follow the given measurements on the sketch.  Of course, you can alter them to fit your needs, “It’s your card, make it your way!”

I started by two-step stamping my flowers with Memento Black and Blushing Bride Ink.  I also stamped my sentiment on the skinny element.  Then just layer up the elements and build the sketch.

Remember to embellish your envelope and below I have how I finished off the inside panel.
