Daffodil Afternoon with Special Moments

Hello Stampers,

It’s Make It Monday!  And today, I went live on Facebook to share this project. It is actually a CASE of a prior project I have shared in the past, but it’s just too easy of a project not to share again.

It’s great for our 12 x 12 Designer Series paper, that we all dread cutting up, but this project let’s us showcase both sides of the paper.  One is the outside, and one is the inside.  How, the card is actually made from the DSP.

Some cutting and folding, followed by lining the card and then adding a sentiment tag.  Maybe an embellishment if you want, but not necessary, as our DSP is embellishment enough.

Instructions:

  1. Cut a 4”  x 11” piece of Daffodil Afternoon DSP.

  2. Score at 5 ¼”, 10 ½” and 11 ¼”. Fold at each score line to form a card base. Burnish crease using a Bone Folder.

  3. Use adhesive to adhere the two ¾” folds to each other to create a border on the front of the card.

  4. From Very Vanilla cardstock, die-cut several labels with the Tasteful Labels Dies.

  5. Stamp your sentiment with Memento Ink or the Crushed Curry onto your labels.  You can see through the photopolymer stamps to position them on the labels.

  6. Cut a Very Vanilla liner that measures 5” x 3 ¾”.  Adhere to the center of your card.
