Enjoy the Rhythm - You Rock My World

Hello my stamping friends.

Today I have a project featuring the Enjoy the Rhythm stamp set.  Those of you who know my family, know we have a drummer in the house!  And music is definitely part of our family make-up as well.  We have all the instruments pictured in this set in our music collection.  So no surprise I bought this set.

I crafted this card for a GUY THEMED demo swap, but had my dear hubby in my mind as well.  I decided to keep it to classy colors of Smokey Slate, Basic White, Basic Black & then a pop of color with Shaded Spruce on the guitar!

Steps to the project:

1. The background panel is embossed with the Merry Melody EF.

2. Then I die-cut two circles with the Stylish Shapes Dies from Basic White, stamped with Versa-mark and heat embossed with Black Emboss Powder.

3. The keys of the piano were colored with the Light Basic Black Blend.

4. The cymbals on the drum kit were the Light Smokey Slate Blend.

5. I stamped the guitar and heat embossed that as well on a piece of scrap white cardstock. Then using my paper snips to trim it out. I  colored with the Light Shaded Spruce Blend.

6. Next I die-cut the smaller Basic Black circle and stamped and heat emboss with White Emboss Powder.

7. Then it was time to place and adhere all the parts and pieces to my Smokey Slate card base.
