Rustic Harvest - Stand Up Fun Fold

Hello my stamping friends.

Today I am sharing a fun fold card design with you and once again I am featuring the Rustic Harvest DSP. This card design was recently shared by Jackie Bolhuis in her monthly template tutorial class. I will share all the details with you for this one design in my blog today.

First let me share the basic Fun Fold Design. As you can see it is a standard sized card base with four score lines. They are noted at the bottom of the photo here. But if you score the 2” line and the 3 ⅛” line from one end, and then flip your base over and do the opposite end with the same measures you get the same result! The score lines then get folded so that the center section is pushed out and the end sections are tucked behind.

So here is where I started and the steps I completed before I assembled the final project.

Start by scoring your card base with the template. For my side panel I opted for embossed cardstock instead of more DSP panels, so I embossed a 3 ½” x 5 ¼” piece of Mossy Meadow in the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and then cut it into two panels to fit my card.

For the sentiment, I did something a little different, I made a prize ribbon! I cut the standard wide banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies in half and then added it to my circle sentiment label.

Once those steps were completed I just had to adhere it all together. I used the Mono-adhesive to add all the DSP and embossed panels, then dimensionals to add the sentiment ribbon.
