Tulip Fields with Special Moments (SAB)

Tulip Fields with Special Moments (SAB)

Hello my stamping friends,

Welcome to Make It Monday, and today you can see I am sharing a project featuring the Tulip Fields Bundle from the new Spring Catalog collection.  The sentiment comes from the SAB set - Special Moments.  And TODAY is the last day of Sale-a-bration for the Jan-Feb Promotion.  So if you have been waiting to order and collect your FREE Set and supplies, don't waste anytime... be sure to place your order today.

I crafted this project for a Demo Swap with my team, and I am really happy to share it with you today.  I was able to create the fun brick background with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder and use ink and sponge daubers to give it a little bit of color.  The rest is just stamps and dies, with a small piece of DSP from the Flowering Fields DSP. This is a great layout to get that DSP to go farther in your projects.

Remember, I have the product list, project instructions and a Show & Tell tutorial all below for you crafting pleasure.  Be sure to leave me a comment.  I love to hear what you think of the projects I share.

Happy Stampin',

Susan

  2. Emboss a 4 x 5 ¼” Basic White piece of cardstock with the Brick & Mortar Embossing folder in the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.

  3. With your Pumpkin Pie ink and a sponge dauber, apply ink to the service of the embossed panel.  Then adhere to the face of the card.

  4. Add a ½” x 5 ¼” strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock for a paper ribbon across the card.  This will serve as a dividing line for your embellishments.

  5. Die-cut from the Flowering Fields DSP with the Tasteful Labels Die to create a decorative panel for your embellishment.

  6. Now adhere the DSP layer to the front of your card, splitting it on the paper ribbon.

  7. Now stamp the sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut with the Rectangle Stitched Dies.  Add this to your embellishment in-line with the paper ribbon.

  8. Stamp the windmill image on Basic White cardstock with Pumpkin Pie Ink.  Die-cut with the coordinating die, and then use your Blender Pen to shade the building and arms.  Then add to the card with a dimensional.
