Twigs & Sprigs with Wildlife Wonder

Hello my stamping friends.

Today I am sharing a quick and really simple card featuring the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder & Dies and the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set. Both of these items are new to my crafting collection and I really wanted to use them. So I decided to pair them together. It also happens that my boys both wanted to give their dad cards for Father's Day and Henry really liked the wolf image!

To start this project I first dry embossed a Mossy Meadow card base and again embossed a ¼ sheet of Mossy Meadow and a ¼ sheet of Old Olive cardstock as well. The 1/4 sheets were then die-cut with the coordinating Twigs & Sprigs Die.

Next I die-cut a Rectangular Stitched Die for my sentiment tag from Crumb Cake cardstock. From there I stamped my sentiment on the tag with Soft Suede ink. Then I stamped the wolf image on Crumb Cake cardstock with Soft Suede ink and trimmed it out with my paper snips.

Now just mount up all the layers! First I added the sentiment tag with dimensionals and the wolf on top of that. The dimensional lift allows me to tuck the die-cut embellishments behind the image and tag. Which is what I did with Multipurpose Adhesive. I started with the Old Olive pieces to create contrast with the embossed front, and then layered in the Mossy Meadow pieces.

I’m really happy with the results. This project came together super quick and the elements were really easy to work with.
