Words of Cheer & Christmas Pinecones Dies

Words of Cheer & Christmas Pinecones Dies

Hello Stampers!

So, I received a very similar card to this as a trade a few weeks back, and just really loved how easy it was to pull together. Lots of die-cuts, and very simple stamping of the sentiment.  It's a great example of simple stamping with sentiments, and fancy card construction with the dies.  I hope you enjoy the layout and the easy to follow instructions included below.

Please if you are shopping for supplies, I greatly appreciate your business.  As a thank you, I not only send you a hand-stamped card, but also include a tutorial and card kit for your crafting fun.  Plus as a VIP you are invited to join my FB Group where I share more projects with my customers.

Happy Stamping,

Susan

Instructions:

  1. Cut a 5 1/2” x 8 ½”  piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. Score at 4 ¼”. Fold in half to form a card base. Burnish crease using a Bone Folder.

  2. Die-cut the following embellishments:

  • Early Espresso Cardstock 5 ½” x 4 ¼”  Large Pinecone Die
  • Painted Christmas DSP 2 ¾” x 3 ¾”  Stitched So Sweetly Die
  • Soft Suede Cardstock 1 ½” x 2 ¼”   Pinecone Background Die
  • Early Espresso Cardstock 1 ½” x 2 ¼”   Detailed Pinecone Die
  • Basic White Cardstock 2 x 2 ½”     Tasteful Label Die
  1. With Real Red Ink, Stamp your sentiment on the Basic White Label.

  2. Position the large pinecone die on the front of your card.  Then with dimensionals added to the back of the patterned paper die, adhere the label to the front of the card as well.  The dimensionals will hold both in place.

  3. Adhere the two smaller pinecone dies together with liquid adhesive.

  4. With dimensionals, add both the pinecone embellishment and the sentiment tag to the card front.

  5. Now tie a simple bow with a 10-inch piece of Real Red Ribbon.  Trim ends to match and add to the card with mini glue dots.
