Playing In The Rain | FMS 577

Hello my stamping friends.

Today I am playing with a sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge Blog.  This is sketch 577 and you can link back to their blog with this link or click on the sketch here.

I wanted to craft a quick and easy card today.  So I decided to play with my Playing In The Rain DSP and use the images as my focal points and background!  So simple die-cutting with the circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies and I was ready to put it all together.  For the sentiment , I stamped and heat embossed my greeting directly to the raindrop DSP panel.

So Happy For You with Color & Contour

Hello my stamping friends.

Welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop today.  For today’s blog our theme was Anything Goes!  So I am really excited to see all the fun projects all the crafters are going to share today.

For my project, I pulled my Color & Contour stamp set out and decided to craft a card around GREEN!  Yeah, we are Irish here in the Webster house… so it seemed fitting for today.

I used Granny Apple Green for my ink and base cardstock color. Pulled a sample of the Hues of Happiness DSP into the background that has that splash of green in the striping along with the yellow and pinks.  I stamped the two-step flower image along the edges of my large circle die-cut from the Stylish Shapes Dies and added a smaller die-cut circle for my sentiment.  To add a little stamped texture I stamped the dotted image between the flowers and also along the edge of my DSP.  Then to dress it up a little I used a piece of the Glittery White ribbon behind the sentiment and two of the large Iridescent Rhinestones on the flower centers.
