Hues of Happiness | FMS 575

Hues of Happiness | FMS 575

Hello my stamping friends.

Today I am playing with a sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge Blog.  This is sketch 575 and you can link back to their blog with this link or click on the sketch here.

So we are approaching the end of the annual catalog in just a couple of months, and I have this Hues of Happiness DSP package that I have not used enough of yet.  So I decided to use it as my feature item in today's project.

Here are the parts and pieces I started with. The measurements are listed on the photo for reference.

When I first took a look at this sketch I thought about an inner card of DSP enclosed in an outer card of cardstock, so that is where I took this project.  The inner card is the larger section of DSP, and with this design I can showcase both beautiful sides.

For the front elements I simply die-cut the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Die set out of the DSP in the package to color coordinate with the Gorgeous Grape cardstock color.   I dry embossed the slim panel of the cardstock with the Timeworn Embossing Folder to give it just a little bit of texture in the background.  And paired the easy HELLO sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set for my greeting. To add a little bit of shimmer, I used the Glossy Dots Assortments.

I had a lot of fun crafting this project and sharing this sketch. If you enjoyed it, please leave me a comment here on the blog.

Happy Stampin,

Susan
