Playing In The Rain | Spring 2023 Favorite
Stamping with Friends Blog Hop
Hello my stamping friends.
Today we have been asked to create with a favorite product from the Spring Mini Catalog. And even though it wasn’t the first item in the catalog that drew my attention but Playing In The Rain Bundle and Suite has become my favorite!

This project follows a fun fold template I am showcasing next month in my Fun Fold Templates class. I nicknamed it the Standing Card! Well, because it stands on its own. I really love the little pop-out center and how easy it is to create!
For the side panels I used the bright kite design paper from the Design A Daydream DSP which is a host item in the annual catalog. The center section is a dry embossed panel with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. Then It was time to dress it up with a center focal image.
So for my Focal Image, I first die-cut the largest circle from Basic White with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the greeting, then the clouds, and finally the daisies. Then it all got colored with my BLEND markers. See how I stamped and colored with active edges.
For the turtle, I stamped him with Memento and colored with my BLENDS. Then die-cut him with the coordinating dies for the Playing In The Rain bundle.
