Country Floral | Modified Barn Fun Fold
Hello my stamping friends.
I’m sharing my second Fun Fold project today for the month of February. I created this sweet valentine with the Country Floral DSP package found in the Spring Mini Catalog. But remember, if you are part of my Fun Fold Class In The Mail, your template and practice sample kit will be constructed and sampled from my Retired DSP stash.
I dubbed this fun fold, the Modified Barn Fun Fold. I consider a Barn Fold a card where the card front is two panels folded towards one another and they meet in the middle. So this fold does do that, but it is stepped in from the edges and has a base card. It also has an accordion fold component, which makes a really fun fold. Lots of areas to spread out and use different DSP panels, or similar DSP panels. Whichever way your crafty mind prefers.
Here is the Show & Tell Video to see the whole project from start to finish. I share the template, and then take you through the preparations for the card project. As I go through cutting the DSP for my project today, if you listen carefully, you will see or hear that I wasn’t absolutely decided on which panel would go where until I actually cut the DSP. Yes, when crafting on the fly… things change. But it all ended well. Enjoy the video.
Would you like to receive this template in the mail, along with a sample kit to practice one of your own? That’s exactly what I offer in my Class In The Mail option. Be sure to contact me if you would like to join the fun.
