Standing Z Fold Card on Card Fun Fold

Hello my stamping friends.

Welcome to June! Today I am sharing the first of the two fun fold templates for this month. This one I have dubbed the Standing Z Fold Card on Card. Why? When constructing it, you are really adding a Z-fold card to the top of a standard card base. So card-on-a-card.

For today’s project I am featuring the new Cheerful Daisies stamp set and the coordinating Fresh As A Daisy DSP. My colors are the new Boho Blue and Copper Clay, so be sure to take a peek at them and see how great they are together.

Okay, so each of these Fun Fold projects has a Show & Tell video to take us from start to finish. So let’s start there. If you have your templates and practice kits, you received in the mail, you can follow along and pause the video as we work together, or watch and then make your kits. Whichever works best for you. Here we go!

This one certainly has a lot of layers, but I love how they all go together to create a simple looking card with the surprise fold out in the front. I really like how this paper worked for this as well. Even my cutting error on the front panel of the DSP worked out better than I had planned.
