Charming Sentiments - Z Fold Gift Card Fun Fold

Charming Sentiments - Z Fold Gift Card Fun Fold

Hello my stamping friends.

Happy Monday friends.  Today I have a new fun-fold project to share with you, and for those of you who are previous customers, be watching your mail for a a little packet from me to you!

So, as you know, I am offering a Fun Fold Template class in the mail. When you sign up for $12 per month, you receive two different fun-fold projects each month.  All the details can be found on the MO TEMPLATE CLASS TAB above, or follow the link from the side bar.

So today, I have this fun fold that is a modified Z-fold and has a gift card slot on the inside.  I decided to create my project with the Celebrate Everything Host DSP that is featured in the Fall Mini Catalog.  If you want this paper, place a qualifying order soon.  Most of the fall items are now only available while supplies last, and some have great discounts as well.  See them best in the online store.

I am featuring a new stamp set to me - Charming Sentiments and the coordinating die-set Sentiments Silhouettes.  This stamp set and die bundle is in the annual catalog, and I just recently purchased it.  The dies have some great extra shapes as well, which is where I created the candle embellishments from.

I have a full feature Stampin’ Show & Tell for this project.  This is how my template tutorial projects are presented.  I introduce the fun fold with the template, then take you through the prep process or all the parts and pieces.  Finally, I craft a project to demonstrate the fun fold and a current catalog item.

If you sign up for the template class, most of the templates and practice kits are created with retired DSP and cardstock colors.  But it’s just a template, or a tool for your paper crafting and a practice kit to try your hand at putting one together.  I hope you enjoy the video demonstration and if you are interested in joining the class, just let me know by email.

Below I have a photo tutorial if you want to CASE this project.  I would love to have you leave me a comment, let me know if this is something you would try in your own crafting projects.  And if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Happy Stampin,

Template Tutorial

  • Here are the standard measurements for this project.

  • For the featured project in the tutorial, I flipped the orientation on its side.

  • Both ways are constructed the same way.

  • Here is the project with the featured stamp set.

  • When you attach a ribbon, be sure it can be untied.

  • Here is the open project.

  • You can see the Gift card holder in the center section of the Z-fold.

  • Of course, you could omit this layer of DSP or from the 4 x 4 section that this was made from, just cut another 2 ¾ x 4 panel for embellishment.
